Our stock loan and securities finance programs come direct to you from one of several major SIPC-member brokerage and banking institutions that accommodate these custom loan structures.
These facilities provide outstanding loan-to-value ratios and often more liberal lending eligibility requirements largely through the supplemental resources and private banking relationships of a major Swiss-U.S. (New York) private equity fund and the credit platform enabled therein. Because the borrower's collateral securities are never sold to fund the loan, and because shares remain always in borrower's title and account with full access and freedom to prepay at any time (without penalty for floating rate loans), these lending structures have the characteristics and "feel" of the typical U.S. banking or brokerage relationship to which most investors are accustomed.
Rates depend on several factors but range from 3% and top out at 7%. Fixed (quarterly payment) and LIBOR-based floating (monthly payment) terms are available. For those with optionable securities we offer a hedged portfolio, limited-recourse-in-default variant. For those with special circumstances, the facility offers a great range of customization and flexibility. Dividends can always be credited to the loan balance or paid directly regardless of the final characteristics of the loan contract, and borrowers will continue to vote their shares throughout the loan term as the shares do not leave client's title or account..
Funds delivery is typically within three days of signed loan documents, and a wide range of securities - from stocks to T-bills to mutual funds to foreign government debt and blue chips and more - are now eligible for underwriting.
Further lender information and disclosures will be provided for those who provide a signed Term Sheet for our records, which does not carry with it any oblugations unless you
Inquire here to arrange a no-obligation, no-pressure consultation with one of our staff members.
