We understood that high net-worth clients might have their wealth distributed over many types of investments, from real estate to oil paintings to securities or more. Our loan facility was designed to incorporate the broadest range of non-real-estate-type collateral. Today most marketable securities and even works of art, when certified, are accepted as collateral under this enhanced loan facility.

We thus set about developing a suite of loan programs designed for high net-worth clients holding virtually any marketable and verifiable security. These clients now have at their disposal a loan facility that is a marriage of institutional and private resources, firmly under the umbrella of a major U.S. SIPC-member brokerage institution, giving them choices that have been difficult if not outright impossible to obtain in the past.
